Wear Red Day on Friday 21st October
As a school, we are currently celebrating Black History Month. This year's theme is 'Time for Change: Action Not Words' so the children will be learning about inspirational figures in Black British history who have inspired change through their actions. We will also be reflecting on actions that we can take, as individuals, to inspire change.
One of the actions that we have decided as a whole school is to support the charity 'Show Racism The Red Card' on their Wear Red Day on Friday 21st October. We are encouraging the children to wear a red item of clothing or something red to support the charity. - No school uniform on Friday.
